What's NT-PB?

Main Active Ingredient of NTPB is Guanidine acetic acid (GAA) , which is formed by glycine and l-arginine in vivo, is a precursors of creatine. GAA is transported to the liver through blood circulation, which can be transformed into creatine under the catalysis of s-adenosine methionine guanidine acetic acid (GAMT) with s-adenosine methionine (SAM). Creatine can be transformed into phosphocreatine and creatinine, and then participate in energy metabolism of the body.
 

Biochemical Pathway

*①Glycine amidino transferase (AGAT), l-arginine: GAA was synthesized by glycine and l-arginine under the action of l-arginine and AGAT.AGAT Mainly local in the kidney and pancreas.

 ②Guanidinoacetate N-methyltransferase (GAMT), GAA: GAA was transported to the liver, and s-adenosine methionine(SAM) under the action of GAA, GMAT to generate creatine and s-adenosine homocysteine(SAH).
