Recently, NUMEGA Singapore was informed by European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) that, after a rigorous examination by the EUIPO, the trademark application filed by NUMEGA Singapore for PARAFORMIC ACID, a linear formic acid polymer, was finally granted. The technology was invented by UAB University in Spain and the patent rights are owned by NUMEGA Singapore. The granting of the trademark patent signifies that this new formic acid can be legally named for use in many industries. Due to its non-corrosive and non-irritating characteristics, it has a wide range of applications in the pesticide, rubber and animal husbandry.
